A couple years ago, I found it easier to market myself under the guise of a holier-than-thou eccentric artist character I created back in 2003, Litchfield. Under his name and his studio, I could promote my work on the edge of satire without feeling like I had to grandstand over it.
Ever since then, Studio Litchfield has served not only an outlet for my design work, but also as an unusual outlet for story building.
So feel free to look around! The work is real, but the writing may be slightly fictional.
I apologize for breaking the fourth wall with this page, but I felt it was important to spell things out a bit. I promise this will be the only non-canon page of the whole site.
The Studio Litchfield site wouldn't exist without various resources and help.
The code was originally designed by Ren Caldwell and then heavily edited by me - so if the code seems cluttered or even broken, that's my fault, not Ren's.
The main typeface used across the site is "Sansation" by Bernd Montag. The various paint splatters are from "WC Rhesus" by WC Fonts. Most of the textures were supplied by the "Subtle Grunge Brushes" by Function to which I thoroughly abused.
The portfolio gallery was done by Alf Magne Kalleland
Even though the public personna of Studio Litchfield will be voiced from a cast of cartoons, all correspondence (email or in-person) will NOT be done in character - I'd imagine that would get really weird.
